Day-by-Day Itinerary

01Day

Arrival / Colombo

Airport → Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranayaka International Airport (BIA) where you will be received with pickup and assistance. Transfer comfortably to your hotel in Colombo, check in and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities.

02Day

Colombo

Colombo City

Begin the morning exploring Colombo's city attractions. In the afternoon, head to Gangarama Temple. End the evening with a visit to PVR to watch a kids' movie.

03Day

Colombo

Colombo → Ja Ela

Visit Water World and discover an array of fish and birds, with the underwater tunnel being a special highlight. Later, head to Guruge Nature Park and Mayan Water Park in Ja Ela for an afternoon of fun and excitement.

04Day

Colombo / Kandy

Colombo → Kandy

Journey to Kandy and en route stop at the Elephant Freedom Project, enjoy walking, bathing and preparing food for the elephants. Upon arriving in Kandy, check into the hotel and in the evening take blessings at the Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic.

05Day

Kandy / Kitulgala

Kandy → Kitulgala

Transfer to Kitulgala and experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Kelani River. Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch. A scenic bicycle ride through the lush countryside can also be arranged upon request.

06Day

Kitulgala / Nuwara Eliya

Kitulgala → Nuwara Eliya

Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route to witness the beautiful St. Clair and Devon Waterfalls. Upon arrival enjoy a scenic boat ride around Lake Gregory and a pony ride along Gregory Park. End the evening with a High Tea experience on the hotel lawn.

07Day

Nuwara Eliya / Ella

Nanu Oya → Ella

Start the morning with a visit to a tea plantation and tea factory. Then take the iconic scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella. Upon arrival in Ella, visit the Nine Arch Bridge in the evening.

08Day

Ella

Hike up Little Adam's Peak in the morning. Thrill yourself with a zip-lining session and experience archery. In the evening, learn to prepare an authentic Sri Lankan meal at a typical local place.

09Day

Ella / Yala

Ella → Yala

Transfer to Yala, stopping en route to witness the Ravana Waterfall. In the afternoon enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari through Yala National Park. End the evening with a BBQ dinner by a campfire in the wilderness of Yala.

10Day

Yala

Yala National Park

Enjoy a morning Jeep Safari in Yala National Park. Kids can take part in the Junior Ranger Programme while parents relax and enjoy the campsite facilities. In the evening try fresh water fishing with local fishermen.

11Day

Yala to Bentota

Yala → Galle → Bentota

Journey towards Bentota, stopping in Galle to explore the living legacy of the Galle Fort. Check into the hotel and in the evening visit a Sea Turtle Conservation Centre and experience turtle releasing.

12Day

Bentota

Bentota Beach

Spend the full day relaxing by Bentota Beach. Alternatively, enjoy an array of exciting water sports including Banana Boat Rides, Jet Skiing, Water Polo, Paddle Boarding and Disco Donut Rides.

13Day

Bentota

The morning is all about sun, sand and waves. Enjoy the resort facilities. On request, the afternoon can be filled with kid-friendly creative experiences including Mask Painting, Puppetry, Pottery and Drumming.

14Day

Departure

Bentota → Airport

Your family will be safely transferred to Bandaranayaka International Airport (BIA) for your journey home, hearts full of memories and smiles that will last a lifetime. Until we meet again!
