This is no ordinary holiday. The Aurivana Ceylon Beyond Boundaries Tour is a 15-day extreme adventure built for seasoned thrill-seekers ready to push their physical and mental limits across some of Sri Lanka's most remote and untamed landscapes. Begin with a cultural immersion in the hill country before summiting the five peaks of the Hanthana Mountain Range. From there, dive headfirst into white water rafting and rope jumping at the Laxapana Waterfall, trek 9 kilometres into the wild heart of Horton Plains National Park and rise before dawn to hike Little Adam's Peak for sunrise before soaring above Ella on a thrilling zip line. Continue south for a leopard safari in Yala, a sunrise dolphin watching cruise and an action-packed lineup of surfing, snorkelling, kayaking and diving along the southern coast. This is Sri Lanka without limits.

Arrival / Negombo

Touch down at Bandaranaike International Airport where our team and your dedicated Aurivana Ceylon chauffeur guide will be waiting to welcome you. Transfer to your hotel in Negombo, just minutes from the airport, for a well-deserved rest.

02-03Day
Kandy
Negombo → Kandy → Hanthana

After breakfast, journey to Kandy, the final kingdom of the ancient Sri Lankan kings. Enjoy a city tour including a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a vibrant cultural dance performance in the evening. The next morning, head out on a challenging hike through the Hanthana Mountain Range. Depending on your energy and ambition, choose to summit just one peak or all five.

04-05Day
Hatton
Kitulgala → Hatton → Laxapana

Transfer to Hatton, stopping en route at Kitulgala for an adrenaline filled session of white water rafting and other thrilling adventure sports. After a relaxed breakfast the next morning, visit the spectacular Laxapana Waterfall for an exhilarating rope jumping experience, descending the cliff face as the cool falling water rushes past you.

06Day
Nuwara Eliya
Hatton → Horton Plains

After breakfast, continue to Nuwara Eliya and visit Horton Plains National Park, the only wildlife sanctuary in Sri Lanka that can be explored entirely on foot. Trek 9 kilometres into the wilderness, stopping along the way at the dramatic World's End viewpoint and the picturesque Bakers Falls.

07-08Day
Ella
Nuwara Eliya → Ella

Board a scenic train to Ella this morning. Upon arrival, explore the town's most iconic landmarks including the Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Gap and Ravana Falls. Rise early the next morning for a hike up Little Adam's Peak, rewarded with a truly spectacular sunrise. Afterwards, take to the skies on the thrilling Flying Ravana zip line.

09Day
Yala
Ella → Yala

After breakfast, transfer to Yala. In the evening, embark on a thrilling jeep safari in search of the elusive spotted leopard and a wide array of other endemic wildlife.

10-11Day
Mirissa
Yala → Mirissa

After breakfast, continue to the coastal town of Mirissa. Spend the day catching waves and soaking up the sun. Rise early the next morning for a heartwarming dolphin watching cruise in search of the ocean's most beloved mammals, then unwind for the rest of the day at leisure on the beach.

12-13Day
Hikkaduwa
Galle → Hikkaduwa

After breakfast, transfer to Hikkaduwa, stopping along the way to explore the historic Galle Dutch Fort. Spend the morning kayaking followed by an exciting diving session, then relax by the beach for the evening.

Colombo

After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Colombo, the vibrant commercial hub of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely city tour with time for some last minute shopping.
